Painted a custom color, shown in a car show at the BASF booth then boxed. I got it early 2002 and upgraded the parts and have only put less than 50 miles on it. Condition: Near new Like new. Less than 50 miles. One minor paint chip on rear top tube about 4" behind the front seat tube. Hard to see because of black primer. Parts: FSA Triple Carbon cranks. Shimano Splined bottom brackets. XTR 9 speed rear derailleur and Ultegra front derailleur with Triple Fix. Ultegra STI brake/shift levers on Modolo bars. Santana aluminum stems. 1 1/4" A Head Carbon Fork with Tange headset.26" Aerospoke wheels with 11x34 cog set on 160mm axle. Threading for a third brake.(Drum) Tamer suspension stoker seat post, Ritchey Cross Bite 1.4 tires with less than 10 miles. Cateye cycle computer (needs wheel magnet for Aerospoke wheels) & two pair standard pedals with toe clips. The frame is Easton 7005 Santana Ultralight butted tandem tube set. Bike was built in about 2002 Shimano 16 spoke wheels. (Upgraded. Normally used on Team Al and Team Ti models) Shimano Ultegra Crank set. Shimano XTR 9 speed derailleurs with Ultegra STI shift / brake levers. Tamer shock post, Control Tech stoker stem, Black anodized Santana front stem. Both stems are mounted with Modolo bars. Shimano Flite deck computer.Avid V brakes and Vetta saddles. Frame has Hayes disc brake mount and the Shimano rear wheel is disc brake ready. This is a beautiful tandem with clear coated Santana decals and weighs in at just under 34lbs. Perfect bike for entry leval tandem riders or veteran tandem riders alike. At this price anyone can afford a quality tandem. Please look at the close up pictures and notice the cogs, chain and derailleurs show NO wear. This bike was basically built over a long period of time and just hung on a wall.
